Lizzie and I have started to investigate a local Victorian dump and digging to see what we can find, especially bottles. The area is littered with broken bottles, pots and enamel wear probably dug out in the past, discarded and overgrown. Rather than always trying to find the perfect Ginger beer or poison bottle I have decided to sketch these in situ and bring them back to life. It is a very peaceful and quite location with just birdsong and the sounds of nature, the perfect location.
